3 4~df ducks frames 11-13 w/ cancel to RFF move low parries 11f-19f w/o cancel LFF 3 4 is 10f loses to mids 1f-19f. not something you should go for every time, but definitely a useful tool for people who try to jab/dickjab out of pressure.

new (but currently useless) zero pickup. the only way i see this being useful is if you get to the scaling where otg buster lightning doesnt combo anymore and you need a slightly longer otg to get another assist extension

This has been huge. My KBD’s on both sides are clean. I’m not super sure why but Mishima dashes aren’t as consistant. I may be plinking too. Fast. Also any advice on getting the perfect EWGF using these methods?
What do you mean hold left? You're clearly not holding any input according to the screen?
if you hold a direction and then press the opposite direction they cancel out and you get a neutral input. the inputs he's doing take advantage of this to essentially get a 1 button dash

Completely unrelated to the video, but since you play Zero, do you have any tips regarding loops on the P2 side? It's my biggest problem when playing ZMC on Hitbox as I just can't do the motions properly on P2, SOCD or not.
i shift my hand over and use my index and middle finger to do the dp motions on left side
@@dyllancrazy You don't do any of the SOCD shenanigans? Just up > DP? I'm still getting used to it, I usually go for normal jump 623L, TK 623L, normal jump 623L buster but that's failed on me a few times on some characters.

Holding back and double tapping forward is not Korean back dashing. It's just regular back dashing with a hitbox efficiency. It's faster than most beginners can KBD but, not faster than a skilled player KBD'ing. I use the "hold back and double tap forward" method, to start my first back dash but, instead of just continually double tapping forward, just switch to pressing down (fully release down), forward. The tricky part is pressing the down button long enough to register a crouch (tapping down is sidestep in Tekken). The speed comes from tapping down just long enough to actually get a crouch cancel and waiting for the full backdash before canceling again. While training you can actually go really slow and visually confirm the crouch before tapping forward. Focus on speed later.
While you're holding back or forward, tapping down registers a crouch not a sidestep anyway. You are unable to sidestep while you're moving.
@@xKayNee No. If you're going too fast for your execution level, socd cleaning can register a neutral if you accidentally register a back + forward input at the same time. That, combined with you tapping the hitbox down button (for the d/f input), can accidentally register a rogue down tap................... which sidesteps you towards the screen. YOU might have the necessary muscle memory to not trigger an accidental SOCD neutral input but, a lot of newer guys might get hung up on this and not understand what's happening. I'm trying to help them (not you) because this is what held me back when I first switched to leverless and tried to learn KBD on it.
@@xKayNee To put it simpler, if you're using this shortcut and don't fully release the down button before pressing the forward button you end up having back, down, and forward pressed at the same time. The back and forward cancel each other out leaving only a quick down tap (accidental micro-sidestep). It only comes out as a micro-sidestep because you accidentally cancel that if you keep pressing directions.

If I were to go too fast, the character doesn't seem to be going too far with the KBD. Which is why I just do it slow to get further. Is this how its meant to be done?
@@xKayNee All I'm saying is that this is where a lot of newer hitbox users mess up. They go too fast and instinctually start doing quarter circle forward inputs from muscle memory instead of deliberate down and then forward inputs. A qcf input on leverless is literally pressing forward before you release down. You have to unlearn that muscle memory.

also, when you're doing p1 KBD you wanna hold left then alternate between pressing D and B, the way you've illustrated it here ur inputting down a lot and that'll get you hit if you're trying to backdash

Just a note for you, if you are doing a qcf or qcb input for a backdash you will not get a cancel on a character that has a backsway, for example Bryan. Your inputs need to be b,db,b,n repeating or it will not work.

You can slide your second finger to get f * d,f. It satisfies the minimum requirement and it works for backdash on backsway characters too, and it's light dash for godfist characters. For good backdash space on P2 you want to hit back twice with the right index before sliding your second finger from down to forward.
I gotta work on getting perf electrics on P2 side. This video has me cooking but I struggle getting perfect input

can you explain what you're doing for P2 wavedashing?
Finger Sequence: L.Ring, [R.Index, L.Index~L.Middle,] xN Hold left with your ring finger, then press right then down very quickly with your index finger and middle finger respectively. You must release these two fingers in that order to get the full quarter circle motion. Then tap right with your right index finger to reset to a standing dash.
